When Angie Buxton-King's young son, Sam, was diagnosed with leukaemia, her determination to try everything she could for her child led her to consider complementary therapies, especially healing, alongside traditional hospital treatment. Using other healers and her own healing skills Angie saw a real difference in how much more comfortable Sam was and doctors were amazed at how few side effects he suffered. Tragically Sam died three years later, but Angie's experiences led her to take up healing more seriously, eventually persuading University College Hospital in London to allow her to offer her services to some of their patients. Now she is a healer on the payroll of the NHS. Here she shares her moving and uplifting story in the hope of bringing healing to many more people, and inspiring other healers to offer their services to the NHS.
