River of Grace is one of our favourite CDs. It is a collection of live recordings of devotional chanting sung with great spirit by Gopal Hari and Ambika, joined by enthusiastic audiences in Totnes and Dusseldorf. The sanskrit mantras are set to simple, rhythmic melodies that carry you into a state of adoration as they gradually increase in pace and passion. All the mantras are joined together by the sound of running water (hence the title: River of Grace) into one long track, accompanied by drumming, with the occasional spurt of electric guitar and synthesizer. The mantras include Kali Mantra, Chamundayai Kali Ma, Jai Jai Jai Gananayaka, Sri Ram Jai Ram, Shiva Maheshvara and Govinda Jai Jai. 1 track, total running time 72 minutes, 1998
