As children, our desire to create Art is natural. Pablo Picasso once said, 'Every child is an artist, the problem is how to remain an artist when he grows up.'
Indeed, if you were to walk into a primary school and ask a class of four year olds "Who can paint?" I guarantee you would be met with an enthusiastic wave of hands! However, if you asked the same group of children just seven years later, their enthusiasm would be undoubtedly cloaked by inhibitions and self-criticism. As we approach adulthood, we are somewhat brainwashed by the education system, into believing that we must pursue a 'proper job'! Thankfully, a minority choose to step outside 'the norm' to paint, compose, or invent their way into the history books, in some cases becoming pioneers of human evolution.
It is questionable whether even some of the greatest pioneers achieved their potential by deliberation or by 'accident'! We hear incidents of how they 'fell upon' moments of inspiration when they least expected it. Except maybe Leonardo Da Vinci, who said, ‘Where the spirit does not work with the hand, there is no art.’ It would appear that he was at least conscious on some level, of what I refer to as Psychic Art, and his achievements clearly show moments of genius.
I first touched on Psychic Art during my career as a fashion designer, purely by 'accident' when creating my best selling garments. Little did I know then, that learning a simple technique could have led to even greater success in that field. After a series of twists and turns, and by following the 'signs', my path has led me to the not so mysterious realms of Psychic Art and Clairvoyance. I am now able to deliberately tune-in to the 'right' mind space and intentionally trigger my psychic abilities. This mind space that I refer to, can be likened to the moment when you first wake up, just before you remember who and where you are. The subtle difference between being aware of this space or not, provided the impetus for me to investigate the creative potential of the human brain.
My investigations uncovered neurological work showing each hemisphere of the brain to be capable of functioning independently. The left-side being logical and objective, the right-side being creative and subjective. Furthermore, the two sides would appear to be constantly at war with each other! This may explain why we experience internal conflict when attempting to use our psychic ability – right-brain function – only to be sabotaged by our logic – left-brain function.
Everybody has the potential to be a Psychic Artist and I have gained a greater insight into how this potential can be realised. By learning how to perceive the right-side of the brain, we can connect to the artist within, capture ideas that sit on the edge of consciousness, and learn to interpret this hidden wisdom. Our intuition – the sense of being watched, the 'knowing' when something is about to happen, or that 'gut feeling' – these are all psychic abilities that seem to be outside of our control, but by acknowledging them, they can become our daily guides. In my experience, it's simply down to the way we choose to think!
As a tool to increase awareness of the way we think, I have developed The Five-Step Technique. The five steps being, Perception, Awareness, Acknowledgement, Validation and Intention, which together form the key to unlocking psychic potential. Using this tool in my workshops, I explore various forms of Psychic Art, including Spirit Portraiture, Aura Graphs, Mandalas, Inspirational and Automatic Writing to mention but a few.
Since I began developing my own skills in Spirit Portraiture in 1991, I have given many private readings and public demonstrations producing evidence from my connection with spirit. The ability to sketch a portrait and then have it recognized, as well as receiving accurate clairvoyant information about the deceased, validates this connection.
A Mandala is another powerful form of Psychic Art; it can be used to set an intention in a physical form, in order to manifest it in reality. Increasingly, I have noticed some remarkable results from my students when using this particular form, anything from improving their health, to creating their dream home. As you can imagine, when the power of this potential is fully realized, the possibility to create the life you want will be completely within your grasp!
Since working with Psychic Art, I have witnessed many exciting shifts in awareness and it is now my mission to bring this phenomenon to a wider audience. I consider development of Psychic Art to be an adventure, a right of passage if you will, that can not only add new creative dimensions to our lives, but also help bring Psychic Ability into the mainstream.
I believe I am one of an ever-increasing number of people who realize this potential. The evidence is all around, in an ever-growing number of esoteric books, spiritual movies, computer 'inner active' games etc; all are helping us to experience how our thoughts actually affect our lives. You may even have heard that the Dali Lama has teamed up with scientists in the US to study the benefits of mindfulness meditation; it's all very exciting!
If we can learn to recognise the conflicts created inside our own minds, and give up the constant battle in favour of peace in our inner world, i.e. both hemispheres of our brain, imagine how this could reflect in our outer world…
World Peace?
