Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov taught that the feasts of Christmas and Easter, celebrated annually throughout Christendom to commemorate the birth and resurrection of Jesus, are actually part of the Initiatic tradition which was in existence long before the Christian era. Christmas and Easter - the second birth and the Resurrection - are really events that must take place within each one of us, if we are to attain lasting freedom from the world of dense matter.
